This page covers when a booking made through FlyLemo qualifies for a refund and how the money makes its way back to you. Read it alongside our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
1. Who Qualifies for a Refund
- Whether a refund is possible rests entirely on the operating airline's fare rules and the type of ticket you bought.
- Promotional and discounted fares are sometimes non-refundable — always review the fare conditions before you commit.
- As an intermediary, FlyLemo can only pass through a refund to the extent the airline authorizes one.
2. The Refund Process
- To open a refund request, email our support team at [email protected] and include your booking reference.
- Where the fare allows it, the refund goes back to your original payment method, less any airline penalties and applicable service fees.
- Refunds move through the airline's own procedures, so reaching your account may take several weeks depending on the carrier and your payment provider.
3. What Gets Deducted
- The fare rules determine the airline cancellation and penalty charges subtracted from any refundable amount.
- FlyLemo service fees are generally non-refundable — even when the airline returns the fare in full.
- For denied boarding or an airline-initiated cancellation, any refund follows the airline's policies, and we reserve the right to deduct reasonable cancellation, service or processing fees.
4. Unused Tickets & No-Shows
A no-show can mean losing the ticket's entire value. Whatever residual refundable amount remains on an unused ticket is determined by the operating airline's fare rules.
5. Taxes & Other Charges
What you paid at booking represents the base fare only and may not cover every tax and fee. Government taxes that are refundable, where applicable, come back to you through airline and regulatory procedures.
Worth doing: buying travel insurance when you book can recover costs that airline and agency refund rules leave uncovered.
