• From the UK, nonstop and one-stop options are both plentiful; the date strip matters more than the airline.
• Peak periods are Diwali, Christmas and the summer school break; book early for those.

Flying between the US, UK and Canada

• Transatlantic fares are lowest outside June to August and the Christmas fortnight; late autumn and late winter are the quiet months.
